I bought 4 sets of these for my nephews for Christmas and they loved them. It's a good set at a great price.

In Short:
Performed pretty well for it's first match today, went through about 100 rounds and only chopped one. Can't fire very fast or the bolt jams, but other than that, it's perfect. Great value. Oh, and it's nice and light weight.

Also the mask works really well for me with my glasses.

The full story:
on the build of the gun, it's all plastic, but the bolt actually has o-rings on it, so it does a pretty good job of not chewing itself up, but the bolt is just barely an off size from standard spyders, so no real replacements available. The barrel is standard spyder thread but the o-ring placement is different and normal spyders will chew it up, but spyder barrels work great in it. Has kind of a scary metal ring to it when it fires, but nothing that should really concern a player. The quick release on the bolt and the firing assembly is really nice, makes for easy cleaning and care. I'd get a different barrel squeegee cause the one with is is like pulling a string of metal washers through the barrel it's so hard. Maybe a tightening elbow for the hopper would help too since the one that comes with is a pressure fit that will eventually wear. The trigger has a really nice feel to it, good pull, and as for the end of the day, hold the gun with hopper up when removing the tank if you hold the gun between your legs as I was taught, otherwise you get a crotch full of cold CO2 since the pressure release points straight down (like all spyders I've seen). Overall I'd say it's a great deal. Never found deals like the others are talking about but the gun's a great deal none the less.

I bought this kit as Sports Authority had them on sale for $9.50 (no thats not a typo). After a few rounds out in the desert I can say that the gun works as advertised. I had no problem with balls breaking and the gun was reasonably accurate. The long term downside is that it appears as though the marker is not made extremely well and I have doubts about its long-term reliability. However, considering I couldn't rent a marker package for $10, I'm quite happy with it.

Like David, I Bought this when my local SPORTS AUTHORITY had it for $10. I Picked up 2. I have fired about 1000 rounds on each and they worked flawlessly. Cheap, Reliable and Totally Worth the money! Havent had 1 problem with it
The Verdict: Buy It under $30

I bought this set-up because I wanted a basic marker set that would be intro, noob, starter. The gun is not a bad marker, but by no stretch of the imagination is it a good one. When I took it out on the field for the first time it chopped every ball that I shot. I asked the guys who work at the field about it and they told me that Brass Eagle guns usually require that you use their brand of paint in order to prevent ball chopping. This is problematic since no one of the sporting goods stores near me carry Brass Eagle brand paintballs. I would suggest this marker as either a back-up or for a beginner, nothing more. The mask works great. I'm keeping that dude.
