I'm a big time budget player. I dont paintball as often as I would like, so I look for solid, low end deals for the casual paintballer. I ordered these lenses as a replacement for the single lens that came with my JT Elie XFire mask (its an older model mask, but has excellent coverage and a basic tactical design).

These got rid of the Glare, and dont fog like the single lenses. I give the smoke lenses a 5 out of 5.

I still have yet to try the SMOKE lens out. I got the lens 2 days before estimated arrival. Lens got here before my mask LOL!! I'll edit/post a new review on this once I've used it plenty of times. It's making me rate so I did 4 stars because of how fast it came. From down south (i'm up in MN). And FYI to anyone who wants to know, I play airsoft. And Paintball masks work GREAT for airsoft, especially JT masks. They are comfortable enough, and if you need some extra foam for a mask, here's a tip: Just take some other foam and insert it where you need it (I don't care how you secure the foam). So yeah, it came FAST, have yet to use it, can't wait to.

--------------------------------------------
EDIT
--------------------------------------------

So I got the mask, changed the lenses, and the Smoke lens darkens things enough, but not too much. It's great for the morning, afternoon, sunset, and depending on where you live, the night. But it's a pain to change the lens in the JT ELITE RADAR mask, but it's worth it on those REAL BRIGHT days. So yeah 5 stars. I highly recommend it if you usually play on a real sunny day.

I really like these lens, they actually make it easier to see during the evening hours just before the sun goes down. They leave little to no glare. Hard to change out but still very nice! Don't fog up as easy as the OEM lens.

With the strange temperature variances between winter and summer here in Nevada a good thermal lens is a priceless piece of equipment no player, woods or otherwise, should be without. I did have a problem after six months. The lens actually split in a few places. I used it in an X-Fire goggle which is very flexible and my have gotten crushed in my gear box. Still a great addition to the line of compatible goggles.

As another reviewer said, these lenses are made for the JT Elite line of masks, so make sure that's what you've got before you order it.

A thermal lens is a must for hot or humid days, people with glasses or games played on days with rapid temperature changes. The color you choose should be based on where you intend to play. In the woods amber and yellow tend to bump up the contrast, allowing you to spot players in the brush easier. Conversely, the chrome and smoke lenses act like sunglasses. Clear is, well, what you're seeing anyway. I personally prefer the amber.

These lenses do take some work to swap out, but resist the temptation to use tools to help, because they will scratch the lens. Also, the inner lens is easily scratchable, so don't clean it with a paper towel or anything that rough.

All in all, a very good investment for your JT mask. Order two so you have a spare next time you're "gogged."
