Many Tippmann owners play woodsball and like the mil-sim look to their markers, yet this bag really does not fit my custom 98 with a Commando stock very well. I have to tilt my marker in the bag to get it to fit.

Otherwise, it is a very nice case. I like the quality of the case compared to many other cases on the market.

Bought my husband the “Tippman 98 Custom Platinum Series Paintball Gun Marker MEGA Set” for his birthday & decided to get the case too. We’re so glad I did as the next day I suprised him w/ a paintball party & a friend showed up & forgot his barrel. Everything fits well & makes it convenient to carry. FYI though the heavy duty tubes do not fit inside as they are much larger than depicted, nearly 8″. However comes w/ a nice individual carrying case for that alone. Also the mask doesn’t fit either but can just hang it on the exterior. I love that the “Deluxe Paintball Marker Case” keeps everything altogether & he will be less inclined to forget anything. The bag is somewhat compact but hubby doesn’t like excess luggage & I wasn’t looking for a duffle size bag. It is an exceptionally well made case; thick, durable & composed of canvas like material. (comparable to a backpack) We are both very pleased overall & was shipped as promised.

I just got this case and so far I’m happy with it. I bought a different case for my son and this one is much better. I would like to find a case just for the 98 custom though. I think this one would fit the A-5 a little better. I would definitely reccommend this case.

This travel bag works great. With the expanded zipper open, it fits tightly all of the following: Outside pocket- 3 full hopper and 1/2 bag of paint; Main Interior Compartment- A-5 with attached Collapsible Stock w/out barrel, offset hopper adapter, 1 Hopper, 2 barrels, 1 47 cui HPA tank, gloves, head wrapp; Interior Tank Pouch- 1 68 cui HPA; Outside Zipper Pocket- Gun oil, Goggle Cleaner, and A-5 spare parts in a ziplock bag. You can put your goggles in the bag if you wish, mine are new so I will not do that yet I imagine. I did not give it 4 stars because its expensive, you can do more with a regular duffle bag.

I expected this case to be marker-specific to the A5, as that's what I'd searched for. I wish the company had provided pictures of how the marker should be installed.

Suffice to say, it works. In fact, by being a bit creative, my Spyder fits in there as well, so in some ways it was a bonus. I can carry two markers in one case now, which is nice.

Construction quality is fine. Nothing special, but not horrid. Hopefully it'll last a nice long time. Rating: 3 / 5
