When I got into the car to drive six hours to visit family for the holidays on December 21, 2010, I had no idea what I’d be getting into when I checked my email when I arrived. I discovered, while I was in the car for six hours, that NXe and Tippmann had issued a press release announcing that Tippmann, one of the best-known and most respected names in paintball, had purchased the long-standing, widely-respected pack and soft goods manufacturer! After reading the press release and being floored by it, I was privileged to be able to spend some time with NXe’s John Bosch and his son Ryan to learn what led to the purchase, what motivated them to sell their paintball brand and where the people behind NXe will go from here.

Nobody likes getting shot in the hands and fingers. Not only does it mean you’re eliminated and you have to go sit in “time out” for a while, but even the big men will tell you that hand and finger shots sting, especially from close range!
