The purpose of a paintball gun barrel may not be what you think it is. Sure the barrel is there to direct the paintball to the intended target, but let’s be honest—almost any barrel can do that. The real purpose of the paintball gun barrel is to provide the necessary time and space to get your paintball traveling from ZERO feet per second, to 300 fps. If you’re shooting a ten inch barrel that means the ball has to travel around 45,000 fps to get to 300 fps by the time the ball leaves the barrel (give or take a few thousand fps).

In the pros Tampa Bay Damage holds just a six point lead over Infamous and a seven point lead over XSV. Camp Pendleton Raiders are only six point up on Texas Storm in Division One.

The NPPL’s Dan Fagan will be hosting a referee clinic September 15th and 16th at Camp Pendleton Oceanside Ca. The Referee training clinics are for those who are interested in reffing the NPPL Las Vegas and Next year’s circuit. The course will cover both 7 Man Format and Race 2 Formats and will consist of a vigorous program where rules, positioning and communication will be taught, demonstrated and reviewed. We would like all NPPL Las Vegas Refs to attend this course. You are able to show up for the clinic on Saturday and Sunday and first time refs please note there will be a $100 charge for full certification.

In just their first year together, super-team Houston Heat has won their second Pro event of the PSP season, defeating LA Infamous by just two points in the finals of the MAO. To get to the finals Houston Heat had to face and beat Tampa Damage and the Russian Legion–very impressive.
