The NPPL is excited to announce that registration for the DC Challenge is open! The DC Challenge takes place on August 6th – 8th at the outstanding Pev’s Paintball Park in Aldie, VA. Last year’s event was considered by many to be one of the top paintball tournaments in history and the NPPL is fully committed to making this year’s DC Challenge even better.
Effective immediately, all Tippmann TPX .68 Caliber Paintball Pistols, will come standard with a new Tru-Feed Straight Stack Magazine. The enhanced magazine, which holds seven paintballs instead of the traditional eight, is designed to optimize the TPX Pistol’s performance regardless of environmental conditions – such as temperature and humidity – or the type of paintballs being utilized.

Saturday: Living Legends Three and the NPPL Chicago 2010 kicked off in grand style Saturday with a stage full of VIP’s recognized for their service and time spent in paintball in front of hundreds of scenario players! Meanwhile, over on the NPPL fields, the divisional teams began their preliminary games today. Temperatures climbed and the skies were sunny, making things just hot enough to be intense and players had to be careful to stay hydrated as they began the epic battle in the woods of CPX.
The 2010 Living Legends scenario event, held in conjunction with the NPPL Chicago seven-man professional tournament, is underway at CPX in Joliet, Illinois! Over one thousand scenario players will participate in a weekend-long Blues Brothers scenario event while 70, seven-man teams compete on the professional and divisional level on the other side of the amazing CPX facility!

The new X7 format for D1 is over 75% full; many other divisions are filling at the same rate. Due to the nature of the location (downtown Salmon Arm!) we have a team limit that must be observed.

It’s been common knowledge for some time that Pinokio has an upgrade/replacement hopper for markers using Tippmann’s Cyclone Feed in the works. Most recently, the company has stated that the newest Pinokio hopper IS being manufacturered and IS available for pre-sale. The final pre-production prototypes have been spotted in the country undergoing final testing and tweaking before the first run is produced. Buloh on 1st & 2nd May 2010 with a total of 9 teams (total about 150 players) from the scenario paintball enthusiasts. From the Deseret News. ” Police have arrested a man they say robbed at least three convenience stores in Bountiful and Salt Lake City while wearing a paintball face mask. Just after 5 a.m. Monday, employees at a Bountiful Sinclair gas station reported a man wearing a paintball mask and wielding a large kitchen knife had robbed them, said Bountiful Police Lt. Randy Pickett.
