The end of the 2008 paintball season brought so many changes and shocks to the paintball world.  After the dust had a chance to settle, a new regional league came about, a new league run by tournament veteran Shawn Walker.  Shawn is probably best known for fathering the XPSL and a stint running the NPPL.  He has changed his vision with the RPL though; it’s now a vision that stems from the grass roots level.  The RPL opens the door to new players, new teams and a new opportunity for paintball to grow in a new direction, which is driven by sportsmanship, fun, respect and love of the game.
