    1. The Rap 4 Strikeforce vest (ACU) is probably my favorite paintball accessory now, let me go through some of the pro’s and con’s which aren’t immediately apparent from the image/description.

      Pros:

      -Excellent craftsmanship:

I’ve seen a lot of vests up close at various paintball stores and this is by far the most well made vest i’ve come across.

      -Adjustability:

Can be tightened for waist size with waist chords on either side as well as adjusted for torso height with two velcro-adjusters on the shoulders.

      -Shoulder padding:

This should definitely be pointed out. The padding on the left side in the picture is a thick but soft rubber padding for shouldering your tank, while also offering great protection from shoulder hits. I wish I would have had this last weekend!

      -Inner net:

This net on the inside could be utilized for a camelpak.

      -Customizeable:

You can remove the two 140rnd pod holding blocks from the front if you want to lighten the load a bit.

      -Zip-up:

I really like the zipper, well made and slides great. Also, no worries about a velcro system failing over time.

      -Storage:

A lot of great places to store items, including two zipper pockets on the inside of the vest at the bottom of each side which open vertically.

      Cons:

      -Height:

This could go either way, pro or con. This is a tactical vest, so it is short to promote maneuverability. However, I am 6’1″ and this is the perfect length. If it were any longer it would hinder your ability to crouch/duck etc.

      -Expensive:

Definitely not the cheapest vest around, but I’m glad I forked out the extra money for the quality I received.

      -Remote tank carrier:

This thing is seriously slim. My pure energery 72/4500 will not fit this, and I doubt any other HPA tank would except maybe a Guerilla which are very slender. The plus side to this is the carrier is really well made and the method of attaching it to the vest is sturdy.

      -Gadget space:

Some people might prefer more gadget space on the outside of the vest.

      -Overall: 10/10

Definitely the best vest I have seen. Very high quality construction/materials. It has a lot of great little areas to store items, and the addition of the inner net on the back is really nice. You could choose to store additional items(extra socks/shirts/etc) or throw a camelpak in there. Definitely worth the extra bucks.

    2. I’m a complete paintball novice and decided to order this vest to play with a couple pros. They were impressed with it and so was I. Good solid construction, plenty of pockets, tubes with extra paintball fit perfectly in the front. It took a beating (I was pretty much target practice) and held up great. Afterwards I even tossed it in the washing machine and it came out fine. The only downside is that it’s really “short”. I’m a pretty big guy but the back of the vest only went half-way down my back. The front was a little better, but not great. Quality wise it’s definitely recommended but tall players probably need to order the XL version I found on the manufacturers website.

    3. I gave this to my son as a birthday gift and when he got it and it was Tiny It has adjustments on the side that are greatbut the overall vest is really really short. the belt attachments on the vest are about 4-6 inches too short to even reach the belt area, My son is about 6′ 245lbs

I realize he is a big guy but it is almost too shore for his 13 year old son…..However the design is great and looks to be built well…Still not battle tested as he says
