A friend of mine got this for his 98 Custom and it fits perfectly and works quite well. I don’t know if it adds any bps but it it definitely much more comfortable. I don’t know why the guy above me rated these as 1 star when he bought them for the wrong gun LOL…remember, this double trigger is for the TIPPMANN 98 CUSTOM not the Tippmann X7 haha. This is a solid upgrade and is relatively cheap, much recommended!

Bought two of these for X7,s (E-Trigger version as shown in the sellers picture) as Christmas presents for my two boys. We attempted to fit them to the guns last night and 2 hours later we discovered they were not going to work. They do fit the gun physically but technically they cannot work. If you are not aware, the Tippmann X7 uses a type of Hall Effect trigger system. When the trigger is deployed a magnet passes a couple of sensors (Hall Effect Transistors) activating the firing solenoid. The first problem was the rear trigger magnet; you have to remove it from the original trigger, which is very easy to do, then insert it in to the hole in the new trigger. Unfortunately the hole in the new trigger is oversized and the magnet falls through. I had to put a small piece of tape across the hole while testing it. I re-assembled the new trigger and the gun would not fire????
I took it apart and put both triggers together, they look identical but the rear of the new trigger (the part you actually pull) is not cut as deep and does not allow the trigger magnet to pass between the sensors on the circuit board.
I have purchased parts from this supplier before and can full recommend them, their service is great and this trigger does not reflect on their normally high quality of product. I will of course be returning the triggers
