This sight was purchased for a GSG5 .22 rifle. It is perfect!! Nice and compact and the choice of red or green dot gives you a choice for day or night shooting. The rotary selector/on knob also lets you vary the brightness of the red or green dot to meet your light level needs as well.
This sight (not a scope, there is no magnification) is very well made and a good value compared to others on the market. I have purchased three of these so far and will purchase another shortly. Remember though, you get what you pay for. I would not take this sight to a combat zone and depend my life on it. It is not sealed, fog proof, gas filled and the lenses (plastic) are not coated. This is an inexpensive red/green dot sight that is perfect for the average home user.
As far as durability, I have one on an M4 (5.56) and it handles the recoil fine, but I wouldn’t subject it to much more recoil than that (shotgun or high caliber rifle). And I’m sure it would NOT survive a day in a real combat environment (I’m an ex-infantryman).
But, if you are looking for an excellent light duty sight for target shooting or home defense, this one will suit those needs quite well.

THE SKINNY: Great product. Hats off to this item. I’ve mounted this thing on everything from a pistol (just for fun), shotgun, and a IZ-114 223 Saiga. All performed flawlessly. The brightness is great, easily used from outside to inside no matter the lighting or color selected. (I like the fact you can choose between red and green, too.) “Integral” mount is not permanent, though, as it can be changed, in case you’re wondering. For quick target acquisition on my rifle (it’s final home), it is flawless.

Buy this off of shorty usa becasue its $10 cheaper. Its a very nice all metal sight with red dot/green dot sights. Good buy for any M4/M16 rifle.

I purchased this scope to mount on an M4 .22lr rifle. The scope I received was not the one pictured in this Amazon listing. The scope pictured has a forward sun shade, but the one I received has circular lens frames on both ends with flip-cap lens covers. That wouldn’t have been a huge deal, but one of the flip caps would not stay closed due to defects in the rubber gasket surrounding the lens frame. The red and green dots look crisp and bright, but I never mounted it on my rifle for a field test. Had to return it, and am hesitant to order another because I’m not really sure what I’m getting.
