Do NOT let the price fool you! This is probably the best mechanical (semi-auto) markers on the market.
Pros:
1. Light weight
2. Accurate
3. No chop (unless the ball was defective)
4. No malfunction
5. Easy to maintain
Cons:
1. Short barrel (still accurate up to 50 yards)
2. No drop forward (long profile and back-heavy with a tank attached)
3. No gas on-off switch (not a big issue – just have spare o-rings handy or upgrade to drop-forward with on-off switch)
I got this marker in search for a light-weight semi-auto hassle-free marker for my wife to get into the paintball games. Once I got it, and used it a few times, I fell in love with it. It’s light and compact, yet quick and powerful. I put my 16″ barrel and electronic hopper on it, and I felt invincible on the field.
I picked off opponents at 10, 25, and 50+ yards out with no problem. It shoots as fast as you can pull the trigger (easily 7+ bps), and the balls will land where you want them to.
Laying down suppression fire with precision has been my best experience with this marker, followed closely by sniping and charging opponent positions. I was able to hold my ground against expensive electronic markers. Maintenance has been a breeze, and it’s not picky on the balls or gas. You basically get the performance of high-end markers without the fuzz or the hole in the wallet.
