Ninja Paintball has just released a new line of regulators called the GS-Series or Gun Specific Series. Over the years, we have received numerous calls from players requesting us to build them a custom regulator with a very specific output pressure that is optimal for their marker. Another reason why we created a non-adjustable line of regulators was due to some players not feeling comfortable opening up our adjustable regulator to custom tailor the output pressure to whichever marker they are shooting that day.

The 2011 Chicago Open PSP event has come to an end and in a dramatic, sudden-death overtime finish, Boston Red Legion have claimed the gold trophy, relegating San Diego Dynasty to their first non-first-place of the 2011 season! Justin “JRab” Rabackoff made an incredible last-second play in the epic matchup between the Legion and Dynasty, running the flag in for the point to tie the match and force an overtime point, while Dynasty still had live players in the game. Overcoming some incredible weather difficulties early in the event, the 2011 Chicago PSP finished a very successful event at CPX Sports in Joliet, Illinois, with over 150 teams attending.

Ninja Paintball has issued a safety advisory to paintball that oil sould never be used to lubricate a compressed air bottle’s fill nipple, or temporarily remedy a fill nipple leak on a compressed air bottle. When used with compressed air systems, oil could ignite leading to serious injury. As stated in the advisory, “oil and compressed air DO NOT mix.”

The latest from the “have you heard about this?” file comes from one of the original influential players, personalities, promoters and fieldowners in the game, Jerry Braun. He, along with Kevin Donaldson of the Master Blasters, have conceived of a new ten-man woodsball league, building on the Woodsball World Cup concept. Mechanical markers are to be used along with gravity-feed loaders, with “old school” ten-man rules in-effect. While no concrete details are yet available, Braun has stated publicly that events will be held in the Northeast, Midwest, West Coast and Mid-Atlantic regions. The 2011 Woodsball World Cup will be held at Paintball Sports in New York in September. Here’s my Droid with VP trigger, Gold bolt, Shift Kit, Rotor, and I’m shooting some Polar Ice. Not as fast as I hoped…but I think my Rotor is just a little slow.
GI Sportz Imperial paintballs did rather well at the recent Chicago PSP event, as the Boston Red Legion won the professional division of the event shooting the paint and Detroit Action won Division 3.

FULL DETAILS: While traveling through Delaware, I came up behind this moron in a gold Chevy driving in the left lane slowly. He was blocking a line of traffic at 45 to 50 MPH. Naturally, he made no attempt whatsoever to move to the vacant right lane and held his ground. I hung behind the guy for a minute or so hoping against all odds that the dispshit would move over but then against better driving practices, I moved to pass him on the right. There was a car in the right lane ahead, but he was at least 1/4 mile ahead. I moved right and accelerated to pass and he also accelerated up to about 80 MPH. I said WTF, and hung in the right lane and just let him go on since I knew his game. I dropped back and waited patiently until I had the opportuntiy to set him up for a boxcar. I am crusing back behind three or four cars just waiting while the guy paces one of the middle cars in the right lane. We crusie along like that for awhile until I see a State Police car coming up fast in the left lane. Mr. FN Moron immediatly has his right blinker on and forces his way into the right lane. I quickly hop left and follw the cop by the whole train. That accomplished I cruised on. He blew by me a few miles later at about 85. Later down the road I see the moron doing the same thing to a Lexus ES330. We dropped down to anbout 45 MPH as the Chevy was blocking the left lane. When the Lexus cut right to pass, the Chevy accelerated hard to prevent it. As you all know, a Chevy is no match for a …
